Watchman Relief Organization recognizes that poverty is at the core of the HIV epidemic and that HIV infected people and their families need income to survive. Further, WRO members cannot sustain their volunteer efforts and community mobilization activities without income to feed their own families. WRO management is committed to providing economic opportunities for clients and their caregivers, mature orphans by providing training in business skills and promoting income generating activities. Providing individuals with the tools which are necessary for income generation in a sound means of ensuring sustainability of project objectives. It leads to improved business skills, increased household income and savings, improved household food security, and reduced dependency. The ability and means to support oneself and family results in increased self esteem which is vital for people affected by HIV/AIDS.
